• An instance of this Function Block type provides a pulse-width modulated output QO at a period defined by the DT input and a duty cycle defined by the PW input, which is internally limited to the interval {0..100} percent. Its operation is defined by the service sequences shown below.
  • As shown in the update_timing sequence, the period ( DT ) and duty cycle(PW) can be varied dynamically by firing the REQ event while the PWM is in operation.
Test Procedure
  1. Open and run events/E_PWM in the FBDK.
  2. Enter data for the input variables.
  3. Exercise the FB by clicking on the event inputs.
  4. Use the SERVICE E_PWM/resource sequences shown below for guidance in testing.
