An instance of this Composite Function Block type encapsulates an
instance of the DI_PI
FB type,
along with an instance of the PUBL_1
type, which facilitates the use of Raspberry
Pi GPIO inputs with the Local Multicast and
Tagged Data design
patterns.
-
If no value is given for the
ID
input parameter of an instance of this FB type, its instance name is taken as the ID of the associated Local Multicast channel.
It also encapsulates an instance of the E_D_FF
FB type, which
triggers the IND
output only when the value of the GP
input has changed upon triggering of the REQ
input.
This reduces processor loading by triggering "downstream" operations
only when the input value changes.
See the GPIO_TEST5L
and GPIO_TEST6
System configurations for examples of the use of this FB type.
