A resource of this type uses an instance of the CLIENT_2_1 type to provide communication of device management commands and responses between a SystemManager and a remote Device.

A Service Interface Function Block (SIFB) named MGR is used to provide encoding of commands and decoding of responses for the SystemManager. This SIFB is of type DM_CLT as shown above, except when the MGR_ID parameter specifies the fbmgt2 encoding scheme, e.g., MGR_ID := "fbmgt2://192.168.2.1:61499" , in which case the MGR block is of type DM_CLT2.
